Yes, there is a home Energy Tax Credit this year.  These tax credits,
created through the Recovery & Reinvestment Act, have been
extended as part of the Obama tax cut deal.

2011 Energy Tax Credit Details:
a. The new energy efficient tax credit is a 10% credit, up to a maximum
of $500.

b. Of that $500, up to $200 for EnergyStar windows can be applied.

c. Furnaces that are 95% efficient are allowed to get a $200 credit.

d. Wood heating systems are eligible for a $300 credit.
